What Is Your Experience As A Character Artist?
I always liked to draw - when I was quite young I would copy the Tintin characters out and would draw my own... let's generously call them "comics'', but I never really took any real art classes other than woodshop and photography in high school. I ended up transferring to a school with a focus on game development in my second year of college/university, whichever you prefer. Worked on quite a few student games there as an all purpose artist/animator/meeting attendance enforcer. Big fan of both glitter and ungodly amalgamations of flesh - I love drawing different outfits and monsters of varying degrees of monstrosity-ness. I'm working on a webcomic right now where there will hopefully be plenty of both once I get my act together and find the time to work on it.
What's Your Favourite Game?
Many, but if pushed, I'd say Bioshock. I love games with a heavy atmosphere that can balance good storytelling and art direction with engaging gameplay, and few games do that better than Bioshock. Honourable mentions to Hollow Knight, Dishonored, and the Resident Evil series. I could list more, but your time is valuable. These are just what spring to mind first.
Tell Us A Fun Fact About Yourself.
I speak Russian and Italian pretty well! I'm also studying a number of other languages as a side hobby - unsurprisingly I'm a very chatty person IRL. My favorite thing to do is travel and experience different cultures (and their foods). I'm an Aries, a damn good chef, and a pretty decent mezzo-soprano. Also incredibly humble. Hire me.
