So we've decided to start our own version of the 'Meet The Team' posts made by other companies. Meet The Tribe will be a series of blog posts introducing members of our development team. To start, it makes sense to interview Lauren, our founder and lead developer!

What Is Your Experience As A Founder And Lead Developer?

As a founder, not much to be honest. This is the first business I have set up but I have been known to have great leadership skills. As a developer, well my experience comes from my education. I study Computer Games Enterprise where I've focused on programming, design and business theory - so I know a majority of the components needed to build a game!

What's Your Favourite Game And Why?

The Outlast games by Red Barrels for sure. The first game was actually what got me interested in games development in the first place, I just thought the story was incredible and I wanted to make similar experiences one day. Those games also desensitised me to gore and horror so I'm definitely a horror fan because of it as well.

Tell Us A Fun Fact About Yourself.

I love Physics and Biology, specifically Astrophysics and Virology/Epidemiology. When I was younger I wanted to go into Astrophysics, but when I realised I also had to learn the rest of Physics to get the qualifications I wasn't too happy (the electricity topics were the killing blow). I also have an unhealthy obsession with learning about viruses and bacteria (pun definitely intended!), and I have written a piece about the dangers of Smallpox for fun.
